When hydro jetting is useful
If the grate and pit are clear but water still backs up, the blockage may be further down the stormwater pipe. High-pressure water jetting can move silt, roots, and debris through the line when the pipe is suitable for jetting.
- Stormwater pipes full of silt or mud.
- Roots or fibrous debris slowing the line.
- Blocked outdoor drains after landscaping or heavy rain.
- Recurring blockages that may also need CCTV inspection.
Jetting is not always the final fix
If a pipe is collapsed, badly displaced, or repeatedly invaded by roots, jetting may restore flow temporarily but a camera inspection or repair plan may still be needed.
